Project contents:
Discounts at all Ferrari Stores, special access to visitors at the Ferrari plant in Maranello, free passes to racetracks on Fridays during F1 competitions, access to the online community through a specific portal.
Until now:
 
 
Before the project was launched, Ferrari Clubs across the world each had their own different way of operating and managing themselves.

 1.

 distributes subscription forms, collects payment of membership fees, and forwards membership forms to Publicenter so that membership cards can be issued based on these forms. Alternatively, members can choose to pay their fees at the post office and send their membership forms to Publicenter directly.

2.

Publicenter, staffed by personnel trained and authorized to process personal data, collects the membership forms, scans them, and prepares files on which basis the personalized cards are generated.
 

 

3.

Publicenter produces the membership card and makes it unique to the member.

Functions of the chip:
The chip is programmed to function as an electronic wallet that can be used to manage transactions and any Ferrari service the member uses as well as to credit points to the member’s account.

Data codified into the magnetic strip (the magnetic strip is useful for controlling access to the Maranello plant and when visiting or attending events)

Expiry
The card is valid for one year and can be renewed.
Upon receiving payment of a member’s annual fee, Ferrari sends the member a tag for membership renewal in the current year.

Publicenter reads the personal data and PIN stored into the chip and prints these information on a letter.

The letter is then inserted in an envelope and mailed to the member.

The member receives a fidelity card directly at home, and from that point on he or she can access the online services offered by Ferrari.

 
The project from time to time may be supplemented with a substantial amount of mailing, packaging, or other initiatives promoting the club and its services.

RFID CARD FOR THE PRESS

 
Ferrari will also be offering a MEDIA CARD to press reporters and journalists enabling advanced identification at special events.
This is a strictly personal card with embedded RFID technology, and in combination with a handheld GSM terminal used by a hostess, will make it possible to authorize access to members of the media at selected events.
Publicenter has been entrusted with building and managing the membership and access database using high-security standards in compliance with privacy laws.
