Contactless Smart Cards are spreading throughout the world, thanks to the usefulness and reliabilities granted by the RFID technology.
Contactless cards have many applications and the request for them is constantly increasing, for this reason PUBLICENTER has created a dedicated line that includes a wide range of solutions that PUBLICENTER is capable of providing: the CARD PASS line.

CARD PASS line includes CONTACTLESS CARDS, HYBRID CARDS and DUAL INTERFACE CARDS, or rather all products that work with RFID technology and communicate  with the card reader only by means of proximity.

CONTACTLESS SMART CARDS
The card use a transponder (chip + antenna) that communicates with the card reader through RFID induction technology. These cards require only close proximity to an antenna to complete transactions. They are subdivided into 3 main categories according to the frequency mostly used by the transponder: 

• Low Frequency (LF) Cards  (125-136 KHz)
• High Frequency (HF) Cards (13,56 MHz)
• Ultra High Frequency (UHF) Cards (840-960MHz) 

HYBRID SMART CARDS
These cards have got both a transponder (chip + antenna) and a contact chip on the same card body.

DUAL INTERFACE SMART CARDS
These cards features just one chip that has both a contact interface and a contactless one. This means that the chip can be accessed either through an antenna, or through electric contacts.
