BikeMi is the new Bike Sharing service provided by Milan city. It allows citizens to rent a bicycle in one of the many dedicated place in the city. Bike Sharing is not just a normal service where you can rent a bicycle, but has been created as real mean of public transport, ideal for small trips around the town.  In fact it is possible to rent a bicycle in one part of the town and to return it to another part of the town. The dedicated location are close to the main strategic point of the city: train stations, universities, hospitals, touristic attractions, underground stations, and it has already been planned to increase the number of bike station to make use this service even easier.

This card BikeMi, which use the  RFID technology and works without contact between the card and the reader, has been produced by Publicenter.

Publicenter also supply the complete service of preparation and mailing of the  “welcome pack” to be provided to the new owner of the card.
